JOB SUMMARY

Plans and manages the overall operation sales and service for entertainment and assigned special events. Promotes positive client experiences by facilitating the sales and creative aspects at the optimum performance levels. Works in conjunction with leadership and entertainment team in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the enhancement of all entertainment special events. Finalizes performance contracts and manages contract relationships. Supports leadership in concept development, management, coordination of creative team, booking and creative endeavors. Manages the day-to-day sales and quality assurance of all entertainment events. Coordinates sales efforts with all departments to maximize revenue opportunities.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in the event management, entertainment, talent booking or related professional area.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Sales, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1-year experience in the sales market or related professional area required.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Entertainment Event Logistics and Operations

  • Coordinates sales efforts with all departments to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Manages the day-to-day technical operation and quality assurance (e.g., special effects, lighting, sound enhancements, show systems) of all entertainment bookings.
  • Performs pre and post operation duties, show schedules and show time duties such as audio visual and electrical needs.
  • Promotes positive client experiences by facilitating the running of talent and technical aspects at the optimum performance levels.

 

Supporting the Management of Event Operations (Planning and Budgeting)

  • Works in conjunction with leadership and DLS team in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the enhancement of all entertainment venues and special events.
  • Finalizes performance contracts and manages contract client relationships.
  • Monitors adherence to company policies and procedures;
  • Supports leadership in concept development, show management, coordination of creative team, booking and creative endeavors.
  • Creates standards for DLS production and assists in the quality assurance of those standards.

 

Supporting Profitability

  • Coordinates sales efforts with all departments to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Performs duties such as scheduling, ensuring invoices and payroll are updated, show quality and performance evaluations.
  • Serve as a liaison between multiple vendors and clients of events and exhibits to enhance relationships, increase revenues and promote a positive experience for all parties involved.

 

Contract Term:         6 Months with possibility of extension or full-time status based on performance.

Compensation:          $2,000.00 Monthly Salary plus 2% Sales Commission

Travel Expenses Covered

Hours:                        Minimum 25 hours per week

Location:                   Watervliet, MI (Training and Required Meetings Only)

                                      Primary location: Work from home

 

Travel:                       Compensated travel will be required – Passport Required
